Alex Noyle's Campaign Web Site. This is a rapidly evolving WordPress campaign web site for Alex Noyle, my manager at the Howie Hawkins campaign. It is based on the NationBuilder compatible Open Source Green Party WordPress theme. Soon there will be lots of clones of that site for other candidates and local parties.
Forest Wiki is a Content Management System based on an object-oriented database. it is a first cousin to Plone. It makes it easy to manage very complex data problems, such as the next two applications, and lets one develop software much faster than is possible with more main stream platforms. It has a much better security model than WordPress, a critical feature for large organisations.
GreenMaps is built on the ForestWiki. GreenMaps is not just a map. It is a model of the US Green Party, It can support multiple applications and views on the data It lets people find and connect with their local Green Party. It provides state maps for state parties, and local maps for local parties. Here is the cagreens.org compatible California view on the data.
GreenMaps provides instant web pages for new candidates the day they declare. Candidates can add and edit content, and even have their own domain name. It also provides instant sites for local parties. GreenMaps is a database of social media information. People can add and edit their information, and only their own information.
GreenMaps is evolving to be a free replacement, with source code, for NationBuilder for state Green Parties. (Not only is NationBuilder expensive and duopoly-focused, but it does not support local parties). If you have questions, please join the Green Party Tech Discord server and introduce yourself.
Uncensored News circumvents media censorship. It imports 124 trusted RSS and Mastodon news feeds, and enables curation of the articles into a tree of categories.
