There is a new release of the map software.
Next up I will be adding curated news to the site. The software is mostly written.
And i am interested in integrating with CiviCRM. CiviCRM looks excellent for running a single campaign . The maps understands the larger relationships between people and parties. The two should work great together. I just need to find someone who wants to provide free CiviCRM campaigns to Green Party candidates. Do you know anyone?
Of course writing the software is fast and easy. The hard thing is getting people to actually use it.
It is really important to get the National, State and Local parties to link to the maps, so that when someone is browsing the Green-o-sphere, they can find their nearest Green party on the map, and join it.
If there is anything I can do to speed your adoption of these tools, please let me know. In the meantime they should continue to evolve rapidly. Nothing much else to do during the Covid lockdown.
It is now fully a graph, not just a tree. . Two of us have child nodes which are actually elsewhere in the tree. I need it because my followers are all over the map literally. And @Mathemattic has 4 different listings, so this allows him to click into those listings.
We used to have a tree of maps and local parties. Now we also have a social media graph. It really is a graph. t is already US -> Regions(New England) -> State -> City -> Twitter Id. But it also goes US->Me ->State making it a graph. People should be indexed based on a tree of locations, but also based on a tree of interests.
Dec 15, 2020.
It now shows both Twitter accounts, and Facebook groups, as well as the relevant partie's names.
The social media nodes now support seven regions, New England, MidWest, West, Rockies, Pacific, the South and Atlantic. Each ahs about 7 states in it. This means the social graph, and even maps, can work with both the unOfficial Green Party Discord Server, and with the Ballot access management approach.
