Data Flows on Election Night

This document describes the flow of information about Green Party Election Results on Nov 3rd. It covers the live stream, the formal process and the social media process...

There are at least 180 Green Party candidates running in the November 3, 2020 election! Ten Greens were already elected in the spring 2020 elections, including nine of ten incumbents.

ELECTION NIGHT LIVE STREAM

Starting at 7 pm there is a live stream by Howie Hawkins, Angela Walker and the Green Party of the United States.  You can watch it on the Hawkins/Walker social media platforms GP.org or on the Green Party Facebook Page.

The  Howie Hawkins  live stream will include Angela Walker, Jill Stein, Ajamu Baraka, Cheri Honkala, Gloria Matera and many Green Candidates and other special guests.

GREEN PARTY ELECTION RESULTS

For a list of Green candidates competing on Election Day, see GP.org. That page will update with election results as they come in. If you would like to volunteer to help report results please email ccc@gp.org

Results will also be added to this volunteer-maintained Green Party Map.  It is a map of the Green Candidates and Elected officials.  It is hosted on the Howie Hawkins Campaign web server. You can see it here.

If you are a candidate, you can login ahead of time, update your data, and then on election night, as soon as you know, you can login and update your status.

As each result is entered in the map database, it will be tweeted by @Green_Maps

The admins on Reddit.com/r/GreenParty have agreed to open a mega thread on Green Party election result, and pin it to the top of  the page.

Please let me know if you have any updates to this document.
