Antonio Padron

My name is Antonio Padron, and I am running for the Texas House of Representatives district 119. District 119 encompasses the parts of the inner city and the outskirts of southeast San Antonio and northeast Béxar County.  The district hosts a growing population of over 160,000 people. My mission is to connect, focus, and represent the parts of the district that are in dire need of attention and grassroots representation. My goal is to collaborate with the people of my district by collectively discussing and learning about the issues within the district and helping my constituents evaluate bills, proposed constitutional amendments, and state budget items in order to bring much-needed progressive and structural change. My district deserves the same attention that the state gives to more affluent parts of the San Antonio metro area. This campaign will drive conversations and forge a progressive path that is inclusive in all aspects. We urgently need to elect a state representative who will innovate with the community and work hard in educating everyone and being a resource for the residents of district 119.
