Alia Sarfraz is running for Illinois State Representative (District 52) as a Green!
Now is the time not to remain complacent with the status quo and bipartisanship has only driven people and this country apart. She wants all citizens in the District to be able to, “find their peace.” Some of the working challenges are working post Covid-19 and an America healing from police brutality protests. Together we will be able to get through this.
She has a background in Science and Law and has worked on governmental initiatives and law reform proposals working for communities in Australia and the USA.
Join Alia's vision to be the District that everyone in Illinois will aspire to. We should never have to worry about food sustainability, schools not being equipped with not being able to handle a pandemic with teachers working overtime to ensure that all students completed work or were able to emotionally work through an absence of peers.
